Me and SocalMom
I attended my first blogging event in October 2007 as a guest speaker for the Disney Corporate Alliance Conference in Anaheim, CA which also gave me the opportunity to meet a longtime blogger friend, IRL.
Since then, it's like a lifelong bond was made and we've even slept together (relax, BlogHer roomies...sheesh!) and, well, that's how we mom-blogger-types roll!
Connecting with like-minded individuals (i.e. real parents, doing the best they can) is pretty much why I enjoy attending blogging events, like these:
